Day Off...

Yeah, so I get a day off from school cause people are voting or something. And so my plan for today is:

1. Study
2. Study
3. Boredom
4. Boredom
5. Get yelled at from my mother to "STUDY!!!"
6. Study/Comp Boredom
7. Boredom
8. Boredom
9. Sleep really early cause my parents are CRAZY!!!!!
10. Not sleep cause I'm not tired.
11. Listen to music.
12. Fall asleep

Yep, that's my plan. So, I'm going to do my math homework now. Then study for math, cause I am doing so bad in that class!!!

Today...

I feel like I really suck at writing, and I also have a small vocabulary. So, I wanna read some good books. If anyone has any suggestions please tell me. Thanks.

As can be seen... I have this boring template up. I was a bit to lazy to make my own, and it started to get annoying by looking the banner with the text overlaying the image's text. And also just the fact that the image wasn't centered. PLUS Victoria Lee doesn't like dark templates anyway, so I'll have to make this one light. Besides that, school has been a pain, especially Algebra. I think I'm pretty stupid in terms of Algebra. I should probably pay more attention in class, but it's kind of hard since some kids just take advantage of my teacher because she had a stroke... It's pretty sad. But now that my mom will be back, I can ask her to help me.
Oh yeah, I also have to do stuff for a skit on Saturday for Counselor appreciation. I don't mind doing it; it's just there isn't much time to do something spectacular. So far Blair, Tak, possibly Chris Huang, and I are all doing it... if anyone wants to help out it would be greatly appreciated. :) And I also have games to help out with on top of that, but I don't think that games will cause any trouble in terms of time. And I'm also doing something for Jim I believe? Reading a Bible verse for him. So I must chose one wisely, that makes sense. Not like "Do not commit adultry." Unless.... :P

Apologetics, why aren't all Christians engaging in it?

Well said my friend. What I want to stress most is that "Religion without science is blind." This is indeed true. Although many Christians believe that there is no science involved in Christianity, they are all WRONG!!! Science means knowledge. Nothing more nothing less. Therefore, it is stupid to say that Religion is only by Faith. Yes, Faith plays a role in being a Christian, but not 100% of it. Faith in God and his word plays the role for the parts that science can't explain, such as predestination and morals. However science can reveal to us a great deal about God. Not his motives and such, but events in time. Such as the following:

1. The Big Bang Theory (BBT)- Contrary to popular belief, the Big Bang is not in the least bit Atheistic. It does not disprove God, but in fact proves him. First let some parameters be set: The Big Bang is an event called the start of the universe, nothing more nothing less, and that means Darwinian evolution is not included. Now you may ask, "how does the BBT prove God!?!?" Well, here you go... Because the Universe is undoubtedly expanding, we can assume that there was a "bang" if we rewind (were the universe would be contracting until its starting point. There you go. As easy as that, but how does it prove God? Well, the Principles of Causality state that any finite object, within space and time, must have a cause. And so, the universe must have a cause (God) because it is finite. Now some may argue the the universe is infinite, but infinity is only a concept and cannot be physical (like the universe).
2. Darwinian Evolution/Origin of Life- Science and fossil records both go against Evolution. Haeckel's Embryos were faked, as he used the same (but edited slightly) molds and such for his pictures. The "early" stage of the embryos is really near the middle of the embryonic stage. It is like an hour glass, the narrow center part being the time that the embryos look similar. The Miller-Urey experiment, in which he supposedly recreated the first life-form was false. What he used for his experiment were not at all what is proposed today to be the type of atmosphere back when the first life-form existed. And the proposed environment doesn't produce a life-form, but rather toxins.

Yep, that's what I have for now... I just felt compelled to spread some information to my friends. And I hope you use it to defend your faith. Here is a good website on Apologetics:

Well...now that I have access to Photoshop, I'll be working on a new template. So it'll be looking pretty crappy from now until finished. And the blog template won't be amazing anyway, but it's good enough. :) Anyway have fun you all! Adios.

Comp Fixed!

Well, I decided to sit down today and take a look at my computer that didn't connect to the internet. And during that time I reconnected it to the internet! I can now finish that template for this blog. And work more on my job!

I'd like to share this valuable piece of information with you:

AMERICA STINKS!

It's over. I'm safe from PSATs.

Finally they're over. I omitted at least 4 questions on each critical reading... I don't think I did too bad on math and the writing section, but I'll have to wait until December to find that out. Anyway enough of this talk on this matter. I'm off.

PSATs!!!!

I don't get what is up with these. They are pretty pointless might I say. The main purpose of the PSAT is to qualify one for scholarships, primarily the National Merit Scholarship if you are a high school sophomore or younger. Otherwise the SAT already qualifies people for scholarships. So I think it is a waste of $23.50 to take a test. So, I have some points below:

1. Why do they make us pay money to take a test? I know the College Board isn't a government corporation, and so they have to get money somehow, but why make us students (well... our parents) pay to take a test. It's like they are making us pay them to make us study (if you chose to) for a test. I think it is ridiculous.
2. Is there a point in taking this assessment? NO! The College Board is pretty stupid, I think. They make us pay extra money to take a test that does everything the SAT does, except one thing that it qualifies us for National Merit Scholarship. If that is the only difference, then why not just make the SAT qualify us for the National Merit and rid of PSATs. That will save us poor students two and a half or more hours wasted of our lives.

There we go... my rant of the day. Oh, and by the way I would like everyone to check out this hysterical book by Stephen Colbert: here at Amazon. A lot of the content is quite insulting and WRONG, but you can't have a sense of humor if you can't laugh along with "the other side." So have fun reading it if you buy it. Numero Uno

Here's the first post! I'm going to be working on a template to use for this blog when I can get access to Photoshop. And that won't be until the 29th, or later. So for now, you'll have to stick to reading with this boring style. Actually it's not that bad. Nice and simple. That's how I like a blog.
